Kurt Ruane

Kurt Ruane is an experienced professional currently serving as an Adjunct Professor at Northampton Community College since March 2024. Ruane also holds the position of Criminal Intelligence Analyst and County Detective for the County of Lehigh, focusing on narcotics, firearms, and gang intelligence since August 2023. Additionally, Ruane has been a K9 Handler and Probation and Parole Officer for Lehigh County since August 2008. Teaching roles include instructing at Krav Maga Worldwide, Inc. and TASER International, as well as serving as a Defensive Tactics Instructor at Protective Safety Systems until June 2022. Ruane holds a Master of Arts in Criminal Justice and Corrections and a Bachelor of Arts in Criminal Justice and Corrections, both from DeSales University.
