Hannah Afolayan

Hannah Afolayan is a thesis student at Leibniz Institute for Natural Product Research and Infection Biology - Hans Knöll Institute, focusing on infections in hematology and oncology, specifically invasive aspergillosis-on-chip. Prior to this role, Hannah completed an internship at Leibniz Institute on Aging - Fritz Lipmann Institute, where Hannah conducted research on healthy aging. Hannah also has experience as a National Youth Service Corps member at Nasarawa State University, Keffi, and as a student assistant at Eastern Mediterranean University. Hannah is currently pursuing a Master of Science in Molecular Life Sciences at Friedrich Schiller University Jena, building on their Bachelor of Science in Molecular Biology and Genetics from Eastern Mediterranean University.
