Leibniz Institute for Neurobiology
Moises dos Santos Correa is currently a Postdoctoral Research Fellow at the Leibniz Institute for Neurobiology, having joined in April 2023. Previously, Moises was a Researcher at FAPESP from July 2016 to December 2022, focusing on the relationship between plasma corticosterone levels and contextual fear memory discrimination. Moises also served as a Guest Researcher at the Leibniz Institute for Neurobiology and worked as a Commercial Manager at CNA, where responsibilities included training sales teams and event planning. Earlier experience includes roles as a Medical Billing Clerk for The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints and various positions at LDS Business College, including Assistant to the Marketing Team and Assistant to the Public Relations Director. Moises holds a PhD in Neuroscience and Cognition, as well as multiple degrees from Universidade Federal do ABC, Brigham Young University - Idaho, and LDS Business College.

The Leibniz Institute for Neurobiology (LIN) in Magdeburg is an internationally renowned centre for learning and memory research. Neurobiologists, medics, psychologists, biochemists, and physicists work in interdisciplinary groups to decode the brain mechanisms of learning and memory processes on all organisational levels – from molecular and cellular processes or neural networks to the analysis of complex patterns of human and animal behaviour. According to Leibniz’ maxim “Theoria cum Praxi” the LIN is committed to the fundamental research of functions in the healthy brain as well as to a causal understanding of its diseases. The LIN is a member of the Leibniz Association (WGL) and constitutes a main pillar of the neurosciences in Magdeburg.
