Shayan Vazirieh Lenjani

Shayan Vazirieh Lenjani is a researcher and scientific staff member at the Leibniz-Institut für Polymerforschung Dresden since June 2020, specializing in the Department of Nanostructured Materials within the Hybrid Nanomaterials Research Group. Previously, Shayan served as a guest researcher at the University of Melbourne in early 2024, focusing on controlled conjugation of gold/glycogen nanoparticles for bio-imaging and therapeutics. Prior research assistant positions were held at Technische Universität Chemnitz from January 2019 to March 2020, contributing to both Polymer Chemistry and Chemical Physics departments. Shayan holds a Doctor rerum naturalium (Dr. rer. nat.) in Chemistry from Technische Universität Dresden, a Master of Science in Advanced Functional Materials from Technische Universität Chemnitz, and a Bachelor of Engineering in Materials Engineering from Yazd University.
