Jialin Zhang is a highly experienced researcher in ecology and conservation, currently serving as a Postdoc and Scientific Coordinator at the Leibniz Centre for Tropical Marine Research (ZMT) GmbH since October 2023. Previously, Jialin held a Postdoctoral Researcher position at Eawag from April to October 2023, and before that, Jialin was a Knowledge Exchange Specialist/Scientific Coordinator at ZMT from January 2018 to February 2023. Jialin's expertise includes coordinating interdisciplinary research projects, promoting knowledge exchange among stakeholders, and developing research initiatives. Notable prior roles include consulting for the Wildlife Conservation Society and Guangxi Biodiversity Research and Conservation Association, as well as serving as a Conservation Officer for Fauna & Flora International, where Jialin managed transboundary conservation projects in Southeast Asia. Jialin holds a Ph.D. in Ecology from ETH Zurich and a Master's Degree in Theoretical Ecology from Lanzhou University.
