Dr Abdullah Ahmed

Dr. Abdullah Ahmed currently serves as the Global Business Excellence Manager at Leica Microsystems, where responsibilities include delivering global business and go-to-market strategies for designated products and ensuring alignment across various organizational units. Prior to this role, Dr. Ahmed contributed as an Advanced Workflow Specialist, focusing on demonstrations and sales strategy implementation. Dr. Ahmed's academic background includes a PhD in Biological and Medical Sciences from Oxford Brookes University, with a research emphasis on mTOR signaling and advanced imaging techniques. A joint PhD collaboration with Evotec involved the expression of mTORC1 proteins. Dr. Ahmed also holds a BSc in Biochemistry from the University of Birmingham.
