Leslie Ann Koyama

Leslie Ann Koyama is an accomplished professional with a background in developmental biology and extensive experience in both academia and industry. Currently serving as Leica Imaging Center Manager and Advanced Workflow Specialist at Leica Microsystems, Leslie has also worked as a Confocal Sales Specialist and an Advanced Workflow Specialist. Previously, at Akoya Biosciences, Leslie was a Scientist I and a founding member of the Diversity Council, where initiatives included establishing a grant opportunity for underrepresented researchers. Leslie earned a Ph.D. from Stanford University, where innovative work in stem cell biology and contributions to scientific outreach initiatives, such as co-founding Generation Sci, highlighted strong leadership and communication skills. With a B.A. in Biology from Barnard College, Leslie has developed a robust foundation in scientific research and community engagement throughout a diverse career.
