Lindsay Elliott, Ph.D., currently serves as an Advanced Workflow Specialist in Widefield at Leica Microsystems, a position held since September 2021. Prior experience includes roles at the National Institute of Standards and Technology (NIST) from February 2012 to July 2021, where contributions as an Assistant Research Scientist involved applications of microscopy and fluidics in protein sequencing and water purification, and as a Research Chemist focused on high-resolution optical microscopy techniques. Lindsay also held a postdoctoral position as a National Research Council Research Associate, working on optoelectronic instruments for polymer-based solar cells, and a consultancy as a Research Analyst at Simple Solutions Planning and Design. Additional roles include Research Associate positions at the University of Notre Dame and the University of Illinois at Urbana-Champaign, as well as research efforts during undergraduate studies at Purdue University. Lindsay earned a PhD in Materials Chemistry from the University of Illinois Urbana-Champaign and a Bachelor's of Science in Chemistry with Distinction, along with a Physics Minor from Purdue University.
