Daoud Shinwari

Daoud Shinwari is an experienced executive in the healthcare and aviation sectors, currently serving as the Vice President of High Growth and Indirect Markets at Leica Biosystems since January 2024. Previously, Daoud held the position of Vice President and CEO for GE Healthcare in Saudi Arabia from January 2019 to January 2024. Daoud's leadership experience includes serving as General Manager at Arabian International Healthcare Holding Company TIBBIYAH, overseeing multiple entities and generating significant revenues, and as Managing Director at Emitac Healthcare Solutions. Early career roles include Sales Director at GE Aviation, where Daoud managed major airline accounts, and various positions within GE Healthcare that contributed to a substantial increase in market share in the Gulf region. Daoud holds a Master of Science in Mechanical Engineering from The University of Toledo and a Bachelor of Science in Mechanical Engineering from King Fahd University of Petroleum & Minerals.
