Jan Pronk

Jan Pronk currently serves as the Executive Director of the Faculty of Archaeology at Universiteit Leiden since October 2020, while also holding the position of Team Leader in Policy and Deputy Director of HRM. Previous experience includes being a member of the Municipal Council in The Hague from March 2018 to March 2022, and serving various roles at Universiteit Leiden, including Director of Education and Business Manager at LUCAS from January 2017 to October 2020, and Scientific Lecturer in the Department of Economics from January 2011 to August 2017. Jan Pronk also contributed to the Institute of Public Administration at Universiteit Leiden in several capacities, including Scientific Lecturer and various management roles from 2008 to 2013. Early career experience includes teaching Economics and Social Studies at Christelijk College De Populier from September 2003 to July 2009. Jan Pronk holds a MSc in Public Administration with a focus on Public Sector Management from Leiden University, completed in 2011, and a BSc in Public Administration from the same university, obtained in 2007.
