Joelle Eversdijk is an accomplished maritime archaeologist and leader with diverse experience in heritage management and education. Currently serving as the Chairperson for Maritime Archaeological Prospective Studies since September 2023, Joelle provides strategic direction and oversees executive tasks. As a Maritime Archaeologist Education Assistant and Field School & Volunteer Coordinator at Leiden University since April 2022, Joelle has been instrumental in volunteer management during excavation projects. Additional roles include Heritage Officer Consultant, addressing the complexities of the Atlantikwall heritage in Den Haag, and various archaeological positions including a Maritime Archaeologist at Trident Archäologie, where Joelle recorded and documented archaeological resources for offshore pipelines. Joelle's educational background includes a Bachelor's degree in Anthropology from the University of Hawaii at Hilo and a Master of Arts in Applied Archaeology from Leiden University.
