Öykü Kurtpınar

Öykü Kurtpınar is a PhD candidate at Leiden University, focusing on multidisciplinary research in Innovative Air Mobility at the International Institute of Air and Space Law in collaboration with the Civil Law Department and the Center for Law and Digital Technologies. Previous experience includes serving as a Legal and Technology Assistant at the Leiden Learning & Innovation Centre and participating as a team member for Bilkent University in the Philip C. Jessup International Law Moot Court Competition. Öykü has completed internships at DERIS Intellectual Property Attorneys, Ekşioğlu Law Firm, and The Walt Disney Company. Educational qualifications include an Advanced Master’s Degree in Law and Digital Technologies from Leiden University and a Bachelor’s degree in Law from Bilkent University, alongside a minor in International Relations and Affairs. Additionally, Öykü pursued a Bachelor exchange program at KU Leuven.
