Peter Verhaar

Peter Verhaar is an experienced professional in the fields of project management and education, currently serving as a Senior Project Manager and Lecturer at Leiden University Libraries since September 2003. Prior to this role, Peter held various positions, including Teacher at the Instituut voor de Lerarenopleiding/University of Amsterdam from March 2002 to November 2005, and Metadata Specialist at IDC Publishers from 2003 to 2005. Earlier experience also includes working as a Librarian at the Peace Palace Library in early 2002. Peter Verhaar earned a Doctor of Philosophy (PhD) in Digital Humanities from Leiden University between 2011 and 2015, and previously studied at University College Dublin and Ghent University.
