Rick Weijers

Rick Weijers is an academic at Universiteit Leiden since September 2021, serving as the Chair of the Joint Educational Committee and a PhD fellow in Notarial Law, focusing on the theme of 'Legal Error in Civil Law.' With extensive teaching experience, Rick teaches various subjects including Matrimonial Property Law and Real Estate Law. Prior to this, Rick was a University Manager and Faculty Manager at AthenaStudies, overseeing legal exam training and managing teaching staff. Involved in multiple committees for the Broederschap der Notariële Studenten te Leiden, Rick contributed to the organization of events and publications. Rick holds multiple law degrees from Leiden University, including a Master's in Notarial Law and Bachelor's degrees in both Notarial Law and Classical Law.
