Colonel Carla Bass, USAF (Ret), is an accomplished author and senior analyst with extensive experience in national security and communications. Currently, Carla serves as an author for Orlean Press, where the award-winning book "Write to Influence!" has garnered positive feedback from readers. As a senior analyst at Leidos, Carla acts as an executive assistant to the division director in the Office of the Director of National Intelligence, facilitating essential communications. Previously, Carla was a senior program analyst at CACI International Inc, contributing to ODNI policy development and authoring a variety of executive correspondence and publications. Carla's military career, spanning from May 1977 to October 2006, included two command positions and service as Defense Attache to Bulgaria. Carla holds a B.A. in Russian Studies from Purdue University and an M.A. in Public Administration from the University of Oklahoma, along with credentials from the Air War College.
