Elbert Dijkgraaf

Elbert Dijkgraaf currently serves as the Chair of the Supervisory Board at PBL Planbureau voor de Leefomgeving since October 2023. As the owner of Dijkgraaf Strategisch Advies since April 2018, Elbert also holds the position of Professor at the Erasmus School of Economics, beginning in 2009. Since March 2022, Elbert has been an external expert for the Raad van State, offering expertise on the Miljoenennota and independent budget oversight. Additional roles include Chief Executive Adviser at Noaber Foundation, board member of George Avenue Foundation, Chair of the Supervisory Board at Wageningen University & Research, Chair of the Supervisory Board at Lelie zorggroep, member of the Supervisory Board at Brandmeester Groep BV, and non-executive director at De Vries en Verburg. Elbert earned both a PhD and MSc in Economics from Erasmus University Rotterdam, completing the PhD in 2004 and the MSc in 1994.
