David Merrill

David Merrill is a seasoned entrepreneur and aerospace innovator, currently serving as the CEO and Co-Founder of Elroy Air since November 2016, where the focus is on developing autonomous aircraft systems for expedited shipping solutions. Merrill also acts as a Venture Partner at Lemnos and previously contributed as an Entrepreneur in Residence, utilizing extensive experience from hardware startups to mentor emerging companies. Prior to their roles at Elroy Air and Lemnos, Merrill was the VP of Enabling Technology at 3D Robotics, driving R&D for new drone products, and co-founded Sifteo Inc., a venture-backed company known for its interactive gaming system. Merrill's academic background includes a PhD from the Massachusetts Institute of Technology and advanced degrees in Computer Science and Symbolic Systems from Stanford University.
