Val Bodurtha

Val Bodurtha is the Manager of Operations at Lemonada Media. Val has a background in nonprofit administration, event planning, and marketing.

Val began their career as a Lobby Experience Facilitator at The Second City, where they managed guest services and assisted with event planning. Val then became an Executive Assistant/Associate Producer at Poverty Alleviation Chicago, where they worked closely with the Executive Director and Director of Finance and Operations on a variety of projects. In this role, they also communicated directly with CharityBuzz and other online auction sites to coordinate celebrity experiences.

In 2018, Val took on a teaching assistant position at DePaul University, helping Professor Michael McCarthy with research, class materials, typing, and grading. Val joined Lemonada Media in 2019 as the Manager of Operations. In this role, they are responsible for managing the company’s day-to-day operations and administrative functions.
