Sebastian Wichmann Rogers

Sebastian Wichmann Rogers is a seasoned professional with extensive experience in investment and corporate development across Africa. Currently serving as Regional Head for Africa at Lendable since November 2018, Rogers leads investments aimed at promoting impact-driven fintechs in emerging markets. Prior to this role, Rogers was the Head of Corporate Development at Pawame, focusing on providing affordable solar energy solutions to underserved communities in Africa. Additionally, Rogers held the position of Country Director at Rödl & Partner, enhancing professional services in the region, and worked as a Lawyer at Mayer Brown International LLP, specializing in M&A, capital markets, and financing. Rogers holds an LLB in Law from SOAS University of London and completed the Legal Practice Course at Kaplan Law School.
