Jamal Darwiche

Jamal Darwiche is the current Senior Vice President at LendingClub. Prior to this, they were the Principal at JD Advisory, Inc from November 2017 to December 2018 where they provided consultation in applying cutting edge analytics in the consumer lending space. From November 2015 to November 2017, they were the Chief Analytics and Risk Officer at ForwardLine Financial where they were responsible for managing the Risk and Analytics departments originating $100+ million annually in small business loans. From July 2012 to April 2014, they were the Chief Operating Officer at alizz islamic bank where they were responsible for establishing a highly successful and financially sound de novo commercial bank with $260 million of paid up capital. Prior to that, they were the Regional Head of Portfolio Management, Americas at HSBC Retail Banking and Wealth Management from May 2014 to October 2015.

Jamal Darwiche received their MA in Economics from San Jose State University and their BA in Business Economics from UC Santa Barbara.
