Rick Rankin

Rick Rankin serves as the Chief Information Security Officer at LendingClub since May 2018, where a comprehensive cybersecurity organization and skilled security team were established. Prior experience includes roles as Senior Director of Security Engineering, enhancing security practices, and Cyber Security Engineering Leader at General Electric Healthcare, overseeing advanced security systems for critical infrastructure. At Kaiser Permanente, Rick led teams focused on data protection and risk assessments, designing sophisticated security systems and managing various consulting services. Earlier, a role as Software Architect at Fireman's Fund Insurance contributed to a strong technical foundation. Rick holds a Bachelor of Science degree in Computer Information Systems from Cal State East Bay.
