Dominique Wiest has a diverse work experience spanning over three decades. Dominique currently serves as the Vp of Regulatory Compliance at LendingPad since 2022. Prior to that, they held various roles at the Consumer Financial Protection Bureau from 2013 to 2022, including HQ Financial Analyst / Systems Team-Retired and Examiner. Dominique also worked as a Financial Examiner at the State of North Carolina from 2007 to 2013, conducting examinations of multi-level companies to identify violations. Domique had earlier worked at National Mortgage Access Inc as a License Title Insurance Agent and Compliance Officer / Investor Relations from 2002 to 2007. Dominique played key roles in increasing profitability and strengthening compliance. Before that, they were the Closing Manager at Irwin Mortgage from 1998 to 2000, where they created and managed the regional Closing Department. Dominique started their career as a Real Estate Paralegal at Wyrick Robbins Yates & Ponton LLP in 1997, and prior to that, they worked as a Closer at GE Capital from 1993 to 1997, preparing loan closing packages. Dominique began their career as an Executive Assistant at the Supreme Court of North Carolina, supporting Associate Justice Harry C. Martin from 1990 to 1993.

Dominique Wiest has pursued higher education by completing various degrees in the field of business administration and legal studies. They hold a Master of Business Administration (MBA) degree from Trident University International, focusing on Business Administration, Management and Operations. Prior to that, Dominique obtained a Bachelor of Business Administration (BBA) degree at North Carolina Wesleyan University, with a specialization in Business Administration, Management and Operations. They also pursued an Associate of Science (AS) degree in Legal Assistant/Paralegal from Durham Technical Community College.

Looking towards the future, Dominique has plans to attend Cornell Law School from 2023 to 2025, where they aim to earn a Master of Science (MS) degree in Legal Studies, General.
