Matt Timmons has a diverse work experience in the field of technical writing and SEO content. Matt started their career as a Content Writing Manager at Grovo in November 2012 and worked there until October 2016. After that, they worked as a Freelance Copy and Technical Writer as a self-employed individual from October 2016 to October 2017, catering to various clients. In 2018, they joined ValuePenguin as a Technical Writer and focused on creating detailed and in-depth guides and reviews related to automobile, home, and renters insurance. In December 2018, ValuePenguin was acquired by LendingTree. Matt continued working at LendingTree as a Technical Writer from January 2019 to February 2021. Matt then progressed to become a Senior Technical/SEO Writer from February 2021 to February 2023. Currently, they hold the position of Lead Technical/SEO Writer at LendingTree, starting from March 2023.
