Joe van Belleghem

Joe Van Belleghem is a seasoned professional in the fields of design and development, currently serving as Senior Director of Development at Google since July 2017. In this role, Joe is responsible for building and managing the Bay Area Design & Construction team, ensuring the creation of optimal environments for Google’s operations. Additionally, Joe coordinates the internal community relations team to foster strong relationships with local communities and government entities, overseeing entitlement and approval processes. Prior to Google, Joe held the position of Executive General Manager of Design & Product Solutions at Lendlease and served as President of Windmill West Developments from 2005 to 2010. Joe holds a Bachelor of Commerce degree with honors from the University of Manitoba, where studies were completed from 1989 to 1993, and is a Chartered Accountant.
