Matt Grossman has over 30 years of work experience in the finance and accounting field. Matt began their career in 1992 as an Analyst/Associate at Ewing Bemiss & Co., where they wrote descriptive memoranda and contacted potential buyers, developed financial models, and conducted industry research. In 1998, they co-founded the M&A Group at Davenport & Company LLC, where they executed acquisition searches, divestitures, and strategic advisory projects in various industries. From 2007 to 2015, they held various roles at MeadWestvaco (MWV), including Chief Financial Officer (CFO) of Home, Health & Beauty, and Vice President of Corporate Development. In 2015, they became the VP of Finance at WestRock Company, and in 2016 they became the CFO and Director of Finance & Accounting at Cherry Bekaert LLP. In 2021, they accepted the role of CFO at Agway Farm & Home Supply, a wholesale distributor with approximately $250 million of revenue. In 2022, they began working as the CFO at Lendmarx, LLC.
Matt Grossman obtained their MBA in Finance from The Wharton School between 1994 and 1996. Prior to that, they obtained their BA in Economics from the University of Virginia between 1987 and 1991. Grossman also attended Shaker Heights High School between 1984 and 1987.
