Shamith Shetty

Shamith Shetty has a diverse work experience starting from 2013. Shamith began their career as a Mechanical Engineer Intern at Special Technical Services L.L.C., Oman in 2013. Shamith then worked as an Insurance Advisor at ICICI Prudential Life Insurance Company Limited from 2012 to 2014. In 2010, they served as a Networker at QNET Ltd. From 2014 to 2015, they worked as a Graduate Research Assistant/Industrial Engineer at RedGuard, and from 2015 to 2015, they held the same position at Aero-Tech Engineering, Inc. In 2016, they worked as an Industrial Engineering Intern at Carlson Products and also held multiple roles at Harley-Davidson Motor Company, including Continuous Improvement Engineer, Manufacturing Taktical Engineer, and Manufacturing Process Engineer. From 2018 to 2020, they served as a Quality Engineer Supervisor at Johnson Controls. Shamith then joined Amgen in 2020 as a Business Performance Specialist, where they led various initiatives and implemented Lean Six Sigma tools. Currently, they are working as a Principal Quality Engineer at Lennox International since 2023.

Shamith Shetty received a Master's degree in Industrial Engineering from Wichita State University from 2014 to 2016. Prior to that, they obtained a Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering from Manipal Academy of Higher Education between 2011 and 2014. Additionally, they have earned several certifications, including "Improving Supervisory Skills" from Wichita State University in December 2019, "I-Lead People leadership development" from Johnson Controls in December 2018, "ISO9001:2015 / AS9110D - Internal Auditor" from Johnson Controls in May 2018, "Project Management Excellence for Project Leadership," "Project Management Excellence for Project Managers," "Six Sigma Yellow Belt," and "Lean Six Sigma Green Belt" from Harley-Davidson Motor Company in August 2016, and "Foundations of Six Sigma & Quality Improvement" and "Lean Systems" from Wichita State University in August 2014.
