Shweta Shukla has extensive work experience in the field of human resources and talent management. Shweta currently holds the position of Chief People Officer at Lenskart.com, where they lead the global People function and focuses on driving global growth, organizational effectiveness, culture, and leadership. Prior to this, Shweta founded The CultureGram, a platform for conversations and collaboration about culture, leadership, inclusion, and identity.
Shweta has also held several leadership roles at top organizations such as Netflix and Facebook. At Netflix, they served as Vice President and Head of Talent & Human Resources for Asia Pacific, where they provided leadership to the regional talent team and played a key role in leadership coaching, organization design, and culture scaling. At Facebook, they were responsible for the Human Resources function in various regions, including South East Asia, India, North Asia, Japan, and Korea.
Before their roles at Netflix and Facebook, Shweta gained experience in talent and organization consulting at Aon Hewitt and worked as a consulting project manager at Hewitt Associates. Shweta also served as an Assistant Vice President of Human Resources at Genpact, where they led the HR operations for GE Consumer Finance Analytics group.
Shweta's career began at HSBC, where they worked as an Executive Recruitment Manager, responsible for hiring middle to senior-level professionals in the banking sector.
Throughout their career, Shweta has demonstrated expertise in talent management, leadership development, organization effectiveness, and culture building. Shweta has a strong track record of driving growth and achieving long-term value for organizations.
Shweta Shukla attended XLRI Jamshedpur from 1999 to 2001. Shweta obtained a degree in Human Resources from the HR Certification Institute.
