Mirela Babic-Kujovic

Mirela Babic-Kujovic has an extensive work experience in software development and leadership roles. Mirela served as the Director of Software Development at Lensrentals.com since April 2016. Prior to that, they worked as the Lead Software Developer at Lensrentals.com from September 2014 to April 2016. Mirela also worked as a Consultant at Coroutine LLC from July 2011 to September 2014. Before joining Coroutine LLC, Mirela was the Lead Software Developer at First Tennessee Bank from April 2010 to July 2011 and the Tech Lead at Accredo Health from November 2009 to April 2010. Additionally, they held positions such as Team Lead at FIS / Metavante Corporation from April 2009 to December 2009, Lead Software Developer/Programmer Analyst Specialist at Metavante Corporation from April 2004 to April 2009, Software Developer II / J2EE Developer at Carreker Corporation from October 2001 to April 2004, Oracle Designer and Database Administrator at Vakufska Banka DD from December 2000 to August 2001, and Oracle Designer at JP Elektroprivreda BiH from September 2000 to December 2000. Mirela also gained experience as a Computer Assistant and Translator at USAID MIS Program from July 1998 to October 1998, where they assisted with establishing and maintaining computer systems for measuring air pollution caused by the Power Plant Kakanj, and as an Interpreter/Translator for document translation and meeting interpretation at an Exhibitor Conference.

From 1995 to 2000, Mirela Babic-Kujovic attended the Faculty of Electrical Engineering in Sarajevo, which is a part of the University in Sarajevo. During this time, they earned a Bachelor of Science degree with a major in Computer Science.
