Hannes Muhr

Hannes Muhr is an accomplished professional with extensive experience in engineering and sales, currently serving as the Head of Global Engineering at Lenzing AG since May 2015. Prior to this role, Hannes held various positions at Lenzing Technik GmbH from May 1988 to April 2015, including Head of Fibre and Environmental Technology, where responsibilities included managing the division and overseeing operations in China. Hannes also led global sales efforts with a focus on China and handled financial aspects such as project controlling and financial forecasting. Earlier career experiences include serving as Sales Manager for the Americas, Japan, and Taiwan, as well as working as a Project Manager for international plant construction projects. Hannes graduated with a Matura in Mechanical Engineering from HTL Vöcklabruck between 1982 and 1987.
