Alisyn Facemire

Alisyn Facemire is the Director of Clinical Operations at Lenz Therapeutics. Prior to their current position, they served as the Global Manager of Clinical Services for Medical Affairs at Johnson & Johnson Vision Care, Inc. from June 2017 to December 2021. In this role, they served as the Subject Matter Expert on training processes and overall clinical experiences. Alisyn also worked cross-functionally with Data Management teams, Statistics teams, Project Managers, and CRAs to evaluate and streamline existing content, development, and implementation of best practices across all functional areas of the group. Additionally, they participated in the FDA compliance and approval process of clinical study site selections, CRO selections, and study monitoring. Alisyn has also collaborated with multiple teams to identify risk mitigation strategies by applying continuous improvement methodologies, effective leadership, and detailed editing.

Alisyn Facemire has a Bachelor of Arts from The Ohio State University in Spanish and is certified as an ophthalmic assistant from JCAHPO.

Alisyn Facemire reports to Eef Schimmelpennink, President & Chief Executive Officer. They work with Melissa Rosness - VP, CMC & Manufacturing, Shawn Olsson - Chief Commercial Officer, and Kat Simonovic - Marketing Manager.
