Research Physicist at Leo Cancer Care

Gordon Sands has a diverse work experience spanning several industries. Gordon began their career as a Student Physicist at Tallaght Hospital Dublin in 2008. Gordon later worked as a Physicist at Bio-Physica in 2013 and then joined Galway University Hospitals as a Medical Physics Resident from 2014 to 2016.

In 2011, Gordon pursued a Ph.D. degree at the National University of Ireland, Galway. Most recently, in 2022, Gordon became a Staff Grade Medical Physicist at Saolta University Health Care Group, where they worked until joining Leo Cancer Care as a Research Physicist in 2023.
