Belén Esquerrà Ruvira

Belén Esquerrà Ruvira, PhD, is currently a Medical Science Liaison in Biodermatology at LEO Pharma España, a position held since October 2023. Prior experience includes a role in Medical Affairs focusing on Immunology at The Janssen Pharmaceutical Companies of Johnson & Johnson from February 2023 to October 2023. Belén completed a PhD in Experimental and Applied Biology at Universitat d'Alacant, where research centered on identifying new CRISPR-Cas systems. Additional academic and research roles include experiences at Centro Nacional de Biotecnología, CEAB-CSIC, and Hogeschool van Arnhem en Nijmegen, with studies in molecular microbiology, biotechnology, and biorefinery. Belén holds various degrees, including a Master's in Scientific Departments of the Pharmaceutical and Biotech Industry from ESAME Pharmaceutical Business School and a Bachelor's in Life Sciences, Biotechnology from Universitat d'Alacant.
