John Castanedo

John Castanedo serves as the Director of Operations at LeoTech since January 2023, utilizing extensive professional and interpersonal skills developed during a career in law enforcement and education as a student. Previously, John held the position of Business Development Manager at LEO Technologies. John is a retired Senior Special Agent from the California Department of Corrections & Rehabilitation, where service spanned from November 1999 to November 2021, including roles as Special Agent and Parole Agent. Earlier experience included positions at the California Youth Authority, culminating in the role of Youth Correctional Counselor. John holds a Master of Science in Law Enforcement Public Safety Leadership from the University of San Diego and additional education from the University of California, Davis.
