Joshua Canafax

Joshua Canafax has extensive experience in the real estate industry. Joshua currently serves as the Chief Investment Officer at Leon Capital Group, where they are responsible for overseeing the strategic direction and capitalization of each investment platform. Since joining the company in 2012, they have been involved in over 300 transactions totaling $4 billion in real estate acquisitions. Prior to their current role, Canafax worked at RealPage, Inc. as a Senior Market Research Analyst. During their tenure, they played a crucial role in expanding market coverage and enhancing data quality through various initiatives. Joshua also has experience as a Graduate Assistant at Texas A&M University and as a Summer Intern at Alvarez & Marsal, where they contributed to cost-saving strategies and conducted audits.

Joshua Canafax completed a Bachelor of Business Administration degree in Finance & Accounting from Midwestern State University, where they attended from 2004 to 2007. Joshua then pursued a Master's degree in Commercial Real Estate at Texas A&M University from 2008 to 2009.
