Barry Wilcox

Barry Wilcox, AICP, CPM, serves as the Director and Chief Development Resources Officer for Leon County Government since April 2017. Prior to this role, Barry held the position of Division Manager for Comprehensive Planning and Urban Design at the City of Tallahassee from July 2014 to April 2017. Barry's extensive experience in planning includes serving as Director of Planning at Miller Legg and Senior Project Manager at VHB. Additional roles include Senior Manager in Planning and Governmental Relations at Orange County Public Schools and Senior Planner for Orange County Government. Barry holds a Master of Science in Urban and Regional Planning from Florida State University and a Bachelor of Science in Education from the University of Central Florida.
