Rick Minor is the County Commissioner for District 3 of Leon County, elected in August 2018 and taking office in November of the same year. In this role, Rick focuses on crime reduction, economic growth, environmental protection, and high ethical standards in local government. Previously, Rick served as the Chief Executive Officer of America's Second Harvest of the Big Bend, significantly increasing food distribution during tenure. Additional experience includes roles as Policy Director for the Charlie Crist for Governor Campaign, Chief of Staff to the Mayor of Tallahassee, and various positions in consulting and academia. Rick holds a Master of Public Administration from the Harvard Kennedy School and a Bachelor of Science in Computer Science and Business Administration from the University of Florida.
