Matthew Green has over two decades of experience in government relations and strategic planning, currently serving as Senior Vice President for Government Relations and previously as Vice President for Strategic Planning at Leonardo DRS since January 2012. Prior to this role, Matthew held various positions, including Vice President and Chief of Staff at Finmeccanica, Deputy Director/Director of the Readiness Division at the Office of the Marine Corps Inspector General, and Special Assistant for Operations at the United States Department of Defense. Matthew's career also includes significant legislative experience as Deputy Legislative Assistant on The Joint Staff and a Fellow/Military Legislative Assistant in the United States Senate. A Naval Aviator in the United States Marine Corps from 1990 to 2001, Matthew holds an Executive Leadership Program certification from Columbia University and Imperial College Business Schools, a Master's degree in Public Policy from George Mason University, a Political Science and Government fellowship from the Georgetown University Government Affairs Institute, and a Bachelor of Arts degree in Political Science and Government from Guilford College.
