Wally Wilinsky

Wally Wilinsky is a seasoned IT executive with extensive experience in transforming and managing information technology organizations. As the Vice President and Chief Information Officer at Leonardo DRS since January 2006, Wally successfully restructured the IT model to a centralized services format, significantly reducing annual IT costs from $70M to $45M while enhancing service delivery. Prior roles include Senior Director of Information Technology overseeing various teams, Director of Supply Chain and Information Technology at DRS Infrared Technologies L.P. where Wally led significant improvements in material management, and a special assignment facilitating the IT integration during a major business acquisition from Boeing. Wally's technical expertise extends back to positions at Texas Instruments and R&D Lead, with a solid educational foundation in Applied Physics/Engineering Physics from the University of Illinois Chicago.
