Demetrio Labate

Demetrio Labate is a seasoned Program Manager and Senior Advisor in the Electronics Division at Leonardo, with a career spanning over three decades in the aerospace and defense industry. Since January 2016, Demetrio has managed and technically coordinated programs focused on Earth Observation studies and new developments, with a particular interest in hyperspectral systems for space and avionics applications. Prior roles include Program Manager at Selex ES and Selex Galileo, overseeing the design and development of space instrumentation for Earth Observation. Demetrio's career began as an Optical Design Engineer at Officine Galileo, following a Laurea in Electronics Engineering from Università degli Studi di Firenze.
