Peter Monaghan

Peter Monaghan possesses extensive experience in emergency services and safety, currently serving as a School Safety Officer for the Leonia Board of Education since September 2018. Previously, Peter worked as part of the Emergency Medical Services team at the New York City Fire Department from February 2014 to August 2018, specifically in Battalion 55 in the South Bronx. Additional experience includes roles in Emergency Medical Services at Atlantic Health and Holy Name Medical Center, where Peter served as both a Paramedic and Emergency Medical Technician. Peter's career in public safety began as a Police Officer with the Borough of Bergenfield, spanning from December 1989 to August 2005. Peter holds education credentials from St. Vincent's Catholic Medical Center, having completed studies at the Institute of Emergency Care between 2009 and 2010.
