Atanasios Moschos

Quality, Security & Safety Director at Confiserie Leonidas S.A.

Atanasios Moschos has a diverse and extensive work experience in various roles and organizations. Atanasios began their career in 1986 at the European Commission, where they worked as an Expert in the DG Taxation and Customs Union until 1988. Atanasios then returned to the European Commission in 1989 for another year in the same role.

In 1995, Moschos joined Confiserie Leonidas S.A. and worked there for over 20 years. Atanasios started as Quality Control & lab manager and later became the Quality and R&D Director. In October 2017, they were promoted to the role of Quality, Security & Safety Director. Moschos continues to hold this position at the company.

Atanasios Moschos earned their Ph.D. in Chemistry from the Université libre de Bruxelles in the period between 1986 and 1992. Atanasios then pursued a postgraduate degree in Occupational Health and Safety (Level 1) from the Université catholique de Louvain, which they completed between 1995 and 1999. In 2012, Moschos received a University Certificate (10 ECTs) in Innovation Management from the Louvain School of Management. Atanasios also obtained a license in Chemistry from Université libre de Bruxelles from 1982 to 1986. Moschos further expanded their knowledge in the field of business by taking a short course, "Gestion Financière pour le Manager Non-financier," at the Institute for Business Development - IFBD, Brussels in 2015. Additionally, they have pursued various online certificate programs from INSEAD, including "Leading in a Transforming World," "Leading Organisations in Disruptive Times," "Transforming Your Business with AI," "Strategy in the Age of Digital Disruption," and "Design Thinking and Creativity for Business."
