Jeff Stice-Hall

Jeff Stice-Hall has extensive work experience in the field of IT and information security. Jeff is the CEO/Principal Consultant at Digital Maelstrom since 2005, where they lead a team in providing IT strategy consulting services to various clients. Jeff also worked as the Chief Information Security Officer at Pluto Health and Up n' go Contactless Payments for Restaurants, where they built and maintained information security programs. At Art & Logic, Jeff served as the Director of IT Operations, handling software architecture leadership and source code reviews. Jeff has also worked as an Adjunct Instructor at The University of Kansas, teaching cybersecurity bootcamp courses. Additionally, Jeff has held roles as a Sr. Operations Analyst at Asurion, a Sr. Network Administrator at PlattForm Advertising, and a Network Administrator/Software Developer at KU Center for Research, Inc.

Jeff Stice-Hall obtained a Bachelor of Science (BS) degree in Computer Science from The University of Kansas from 2000 to 2004.

In terms of additional certifications, they obtained the Offensive Security Certified Professional (OSCP) from Offensive Security in July 2017. In September 2016, they obtained a certification in Parallel programming from Coursera. Jeff also earned certifications in Functional Program Design in Scala, Functional Programming Principles in Scala, Cryptography, Software Security, Hardware Security, and Usable Security from Coursera in 2016 and 2015. In January 2014, they obtained the Certified Secure Software Lifecycle Professional (CSSLP) from (ISC)².

Furthermore, they obtained various certifications related to cloud computing and cybersecurity, including the Certificate of Cloud Security Knowledge from the Cloud Security Alliance in November 2013, AWS Business Professional and AWS Technical Professional from Amazon Web Services in July 2013, Certified Information Systems Security Professional (CISSP) from (ISC)² in May 2012, CompTIA Security+ from CompTIA in July 2004, and Microsoft Certified Systems Administrator - Windows 2003 from Microsoft in August 2003.

Lastly, they obtained the AWS Certified Solutions Architect - Associate from Amazon Web Services in May 2017 and the Certified ScrumMaster from Scrum Alliance in June 2011.
