Magnus also completed 4-month French Studies at Université d'Angers in 1995 and an intensive 6-month German Studies program at HSF-Heidelberger Sprachinstitut in Germany in 1994. Furthermore, Magnus undertook an intercultural course at Karlstad University for the duration of 1996. Prior to their higher education, from 1993 to 1994, they served in the military as a platoon medic at Regiment I2, Karlstad. Magnus completed their secondary education at Sundstagymnasiet, Karlstad, in the natural sciences program from 1990 to 1993.
