Måns Bermell

Måns Bermell has work experience in various roles and companies. In 2018, they joined LeoVegas Group and worked as a Data Scientist until 2022. Måns then took on the role of Head of Data Science. During their time at LeoVegas, Måns also worked on a Master Thesis Project, where they constructed a deep Recurrent Neural Network using TensorFlow to detect problem gamblers through behavioral data. Prior to their role at LeoVegas, Måns worked at ABB as a Junior Research Engineer in 2017. Their earliest work experience was at ICA Gruppen, where they worked as a Store Associate from 2011 to 2013.

Måns Bermell completed their education at Umeå University from 2013 to 2018, earning a Civilingenjörsexamen degree in Teknisk Fysik. In 2018, they attended Heidelberg University for a Master's degree in Machine Learning. Alongside their formal education, Måns also obtained several certifications. In 2019, they completed the certification course "Leveraging Unstructured Data with Cloud Dataproc on Google Cloud Platform" and "Google Cloud Platform Big Data and Machine Learning Fundamentals," both offered by Coursera. Later, in 2021, they obtained another certification titled "Natural Language Processing with Classification and Vector Spaces," also from Coursera.
