Javier García Crespo has extensive experience in the field of architecture and technology. Javier has worked in various companies, starting in 1997 at GVC Gaesco as an Analyst & Architect for Stocks Exchange. Javier then worked at Inetum from 1999 to 2002 as a JEE Architect. From 2002 to 2005, they worked at BBVA as a Project Manager & Architect for Java Enterprise. At Santander Group, they held multiple roles from 2005 to 2017, including Senior IT Architect, Head Corporate Architect for Mobile, and Product Owner for Mobility Cloud. Javier then worked at SegurCaixa Adeslas as a Senior Architect for Digital Transformation. From 2018 to 2020, they were the Tech Lead and Senior Architect at StratioBD. Javier also worked at ATMIRA as the Head Architect for the Product Debt Recovery SIREC and as a Technical Architect at Banca Ética. Currently, they are the Transversal Lead Architect at Leroy Merlin and Baoss, focusing on different data domains and technical aspects such as observability, security, and DevOps.

Javier García Crespo earned a Technical Engineer degree in Computer Systems from the Universidad Politécnica de Madrid from 1998 to 2002. Javier also obtained a Computing degree in Management IT Specialist Technician from the Gerardo Diego Institute from 1993 to 1996. Additionally, they have several additional certifications, including a Deep Learning Certificate from Udacity in 2019 and various certifications from institutions such as Google, Microsoft, and Databricks, obtained between 2014 and 2023.
