Luca Bianchi has a diverse work experience spanning multiple roles and industries. Luca started their career as a Business Analyst SAP Retail at Accenture in 2001. Luca then joined Upim - Gruppo Rinascente as a Controller, where they were responsible for defining and managing the investment budget of the company. Luca worked at Upim - Gruppo Rinascente from 2004 to 2006.
In 2008, Luca joined Leroy Merlin Italia Srl, initially as an Accounting Manager, where they oversaw various accounting processes and coordinated a team of 15 people. Luca then took on the role of Project Leader, leading the integration of Leroy Merlin and Castorama in the Italian market. Later, they became the Store Manager and eventually the Chief Information Officer (CIO) at Leroy Merlin Italia Srl. Luca worked at Leroy Merlin Italia Srl from 2008 to 2014.
Luca then joined Leroy Merlin as the Chief Information Officer in 2015, where they played a key role in the company's technological advancements. Luca also took on the role of Project Leader, coordinating the merge of Leroy Merlin with Baumax Romania. In 2017, Luca was promoted to the role of CHRO HR Director at Leroy Merlin.
Throughout their career, Luca has gained extensive experience in finance, IT, project management, and leadership roles.
Luca Bianchi attended Università Bocconi from 1995 to 2001, where they obtained a degree in Economia aziendale (Business Administration and Management, General). Luca also received additional certifications including Leader de Transformations Humaines from Noussom Coaching d'Organisation in 2019, and a Business English Program, 150 hours from UCSD, University of California, San Diego, California, USA in 1999.
