Isabelle Gistain

Isabelle Gistain is an experienced photo editor and project manager with a robust background in photography and media management. Currently serving as a rédactrice photo at Les Echos since February 2020, Gistain previously held positions at abaca as a project manager, overseeing photoshoot organization and client coordination. Additional experience includes freelance work for Mondadori Group and a lengthy tenure at E-PRESSPHOTO.COM, where Gistain managed content for social media, coordinated events, and worked on editorial choices. Earlier roles included photo editing and research positions at ELIOT PRESS, PUBLIC/VOICI/ENVY, and an internship at The New York Times, alongside foundational education in photography from Icart Photo.
