Thais Helena Monteiro

Thais Helena Monteiro serves as the Head of Legal and Chief Compliance Officer at Leste Group since May 2019, overseeing legal and compliance functions and chairing the Compliance Committee. Previously, Thais held roles as Senior Legal & Compliance Counsel at CEPEDA ADVOGADOS and Senior Associate Lawyer at two firms, Velloza Advogados Associados and Vinci Partners, focusing on capital markets and compliance. Early career experience includes legal and compliance counsel positions at Apogeo and CR2 Empreendimentos Imobiliários S/A, as well as a legal intern role at Thompson & Moraes Advogados. Thais holds a BA in Law from UERJ and an LL.M. in Corporate Law & Capital Markets Law from Ibmec, complemented by an honors high school diploma from Colégio Santo Agostinho.
