Sandra Moreno, MA, serves as a Strategic Project Advisor for the City of Edmonton, focusing on the implementation of the city's anti-racism strategy. Previously, Sandra held the role of Equity Specialist at Edmonton Fire Rescue Services, managing initiatives related to equity, diversity, and inclusion. In addition, Sandra has acted as the Diversity & Inclusion Team Lead at Lethbridge College and worked as an Instructor at the Centre for Justice Studies and Human Services. Sandra's prior experience includes serving as a Victim Specialist with the Edmonton Police Service, where the focus was on diverse communities, and a Regional Intern for Crime Stoppers International, promoting anti-crime initiatives in Latin America. Sandra began the career with the Edmonton John Howard Society as a Program Coordinator for the Domestic Violence Complainant Assistance Program. Sandra holds a Master of Arts in Human Security and Peacebuilding from Royal Roads University and studied at MacEwan University.
