Herbert Koebel

Herbert Koebel has extensive experience in embedded software development, currently serving as the Head of Competence Center Software and Head of Software Development at Leuze Deutschland since July 1994. In this role, Herbert Koebel leads the development of firmware for barcode readers, positioning systems, and vision sensors, while also overseeing the design of embedded software frameworks, multi-fieldbus sensors, and embedded web servers for configuration and diagnostics. Prior to this, Herbert Koebel was a Senior Embedded Software Engineer at Leuze Deutschland and a Junior Embedded Software Developer at Foxboro Eckardt GmbH, where the focus was on firmware for process control systems. Herbert Koebel holds a Diplom-Ingenieur (FH) degree in Electrical Engineering from Fachhochschule Darmstadt, obtained between 1984 and 1988.
